John McCain: Still an a-hole

I swear, if I could find that statement on a bumper sticker, I'd force the Madame to put one on her car.

McCain was back on late night television Tuesday, yucking it up with Jay Leno. He said: "I really believe that Sarah Palin is amongst some ... that I think are the next generation of leadership of our party," he said. So, vitriole, venom, vituperation, .... there's life for you yet!

As for McCain, I am sick to tears of people praising his "classy" concession speech. Hollow, hollow, hollow ring. McCain—either on his own or via his nasty surrogates—flung everything he could at the wall during his campaign, praying that something would stick. And he failed. He called his opponent a dangerous radical, socialist, Communist, anti-American terrorist sympathizer. Did I leave anything out?

"Who is Barack Obama?", McCain asked ominously at his rallies.

He's your new president, you malodorous, complicit piece of asscrack.

Ah, yes! That felt so good. (Reading it. I promise to put up an equally heartfelt rant soon.)

In teh event, Henry my love, I tagged you.

PS: Have you read The Rabbi's Cat? Make Monsieur and the Madame buy it for you. It's a good read.

Now THAT'S the post of a "real" American. Fantabulous.

TPC, I will make the tag project my highest priority tomorrow. If I lived to be 18, I could never expect to match your list of revelations, even as exciting as my inner life is. I will have to put my entire staff of welders and fabricators on this task.

Pinky, you are SO like our new President. Black, white AND frosty cool in a pair of shades. Where is YOUR blog, pray tell?

I'm too busy with pilates to write my own blog! We mutts do have it going on, though. I love Barack Obama.

Wow. I finally found some cat that I totally see eye to eye with....I was at a party last night, surrounded with idiots, I mean, McCain-Palin supporters. THere question? How can I NOT love HER? To which I replied, How can you??

Gosh, Henry, Sydney and I didn't see things your way this election. We tread softly here, but we feel we need to speak up even if we risk your wrath. We did what we thought was right and we stand by our decision.

And we look at our lives and wonder about Pinky's comment implying we are not "real" Americans.

I don't want to speak too much for PG, but it's clear to me she was making a tongue-in-cheek reference to the onslaught of attack that the McCain campaign delivered to Obama supporters--being called anti-Americans ad nauseum leaves one's nerves exposed. Further, the "real" in quotation marks gives it away.

I've got no wrath for you. I'm trying to build up my reserves. These McCain diatribes are wearing me out. Even still, I wouldn't use a weapon against an adorable little rag doll with a soft spot for dogs.

I'll close with a quote from Will Rogers, which is good advice for Democrats and Republicans: "Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.”
